    Yesterday, Monday, the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, witnessed the signing ceremony of a letter of intent between the Ministry of Communications of the Republic of Iraq, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to cooperate in the fields of artificial intelligence and building
    Capacity.
     The letter of intent was signed by the Minister of Communications, Arkan Al-Shaibani, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, and the Jordanian Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Ahmed Hanandeh, in the presence of the Iraqi ambassador to Cairo Ahmed Al-Dulaimi and the Jordanian ambassador, Amjad Al-Adayleh.
    The three parties also agreed to cooperate in the field of capacity building by exploring possible cooperation opportunities in the field of digital skills by building a wide range of young talents in the three countries in the field of emerging technologies such as: artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, quality assurance and testing through a platform Online Institute of Information Technology Mahara-Tech, as well as cooperation in the field of ICT strategies for capacity building including digital literacy, and digital skills to create job opportunities.
    With regard to the implementation mechanism, the concerned parties expressed their intention to form a joint team (Egyptian-Jordanian-Iraqi) to be concerned with following up the implementation of the mentioned areas of cooperation. Joint work periodically in order to carry out the tasks related to developing a preliminary vision for areas of cooperation with proposed executive programs with specific timetables, and to submit periodic reports to the ministers of the concerned parties on the progress of activities and programs
    executing.
