The Directorate of Grains in Salah al-Din announced, on Friday, the marketed quantity of wheat within a week of the announcement of the start of marketing, confirming the arrival of the first financial notice to distribute the farmers' dues.
The director of grain complexes in Salah al-Din Jassim al-Jumaili told the official news agency, "The quantity received so far and within only 6 days of the start of marketing for this year amounted to 24,600 tons, distributed over the sites of Baiji, Al-Dur, Al-Alam, Samarra and Tikrit."
He added, "The first financial notification from the marketing of 2022, amounting to one billion dinars, was received for the Baiji grain complex, and the second notification for the Samarra complex, amounting to five billion and five hundred million dinars, in addition to the arrival of the notification of the grain of science complex, amounting to one billion and five hundred million dinars."
He stressed the farmers, "the necessity of marketing their grain yield to the public company's warehouses in Salah al-Din, especially since the specifications of receipt have been improved, grain prices have been raised and receipt is inside and outside the plan, in addition to the Ministry of Commerce's pledge to pay farmers' dues on time," noting that "all these The measures are in the interest of the farmers.
Al-Jumaili stressed: "We are determined to provide the most important item of the ration card for citizens in Salah al-Din." Ended 29/N33
