    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

The specialist in the field of oil and economic media, Dergham Muhammad Ali, considered that the reasons behind the resignation of the Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government, Kamal Al-Atrushi, were political, related to the good results he reached in his negotiations with Baghdad, while noting that the coming of a party figure to the Ministry of Natural Resources The problems will be complicated between the region and Baghdad.
Muhammad Ali, one of the founders of the Economic Media Center, said that Al-Atrushi is a professional figure because he was included in the job at the Federal Ministry of Oil and gained accumulated experiences, which made him able to lead serious negotiations between the delegation of the region and the Federal Ministry of Oil, but the political problems that arose between the center and the regional government, which Federal Court decisions are rejected and are binding on all and irrevocable.
He added that the political decision in this regard overshadowed the professional decision, so Al-Atrushi became stripped of his powers and found that his continuation in his position was futile, especially in light of the recent negotiations in which he reached “good results,” adding that “the political side did not help him, as the regional government did not accept With the results it got.
He added that bringing a "partisan" minister to the Ministry of Wealth in the region will complicate the scene and will increase the problems between the center and the region, and that no solutions will be reached in the "urgent horizon."
He added that if El Atrushi was given full powers, the file would have been resolved and "good results" would be reached.
He concluded by saying that there are other problems in the region's oil management represented by the lack of professionalism in awarding contracts to companies that implement specialized projects in the field of energy, in addition to the fact that the mechanism of work in the region's fields is not studied as the management of reservoirs was not at the required level, and other problems faced by the minister prompted him to resign because Unable to continue in light of the political chaos that leads the oil file in Kurdistan and the Democratic Party's acquisition of the file absolutely without allowing the competencies and specialists to manage it in a way that serves Iraq and the region.
