Baghdad / Obelisk: Najaf Investment Director, Durgham Kiko, announced on Monday, July 4, 2022, the prosecution of a member of Parliament, Hadi al-Salami.
Kiko said in a press statement that he had filed a lawsuit against Al-Salami following the latter's attack on the Najaf Investment Authority.
It is indicated that MP Al-Salami went to the headquarters of the Najaf Investment Authority without prior appointment, and attacked the employees of the authority.
The representative of Najaf province, Hadi al-Salami, revealed earlier about major corruption operations carried out by the province's investment commission, indicating that he was in the process of submitting a request to the House of Representatives to form an investigative committee in this regard.
