    Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Education determined the number of public schools in Iraq and the reason for not completing the printing of school curricula.
    Karim al-Sayed, a spokesman for the ministry, said, "The lack of a budget hindered the printing of school curricula, as the Ministry of Education printed only 50 percent of the school curricula," noting that "the ministry has already started discussing the file of printing curricula for the next year."
    He added, "The current year represents the year of academic stability, and the Ministry of Education is heading towards sobriety in education."
    He pointed out that "there are more than 26 thousand government schools in Iraq, in addition to the presence of more than 500 schools that entered service at the end of this year," stressing that "more than a thousand schools will enter service at the end of next year."
