Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Parliament adjourned its regular session after completing the first reading of three laws.
The Parliament's media department stated in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, "The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the proposal for the first amendment law to the residence law of foreigners, as well as the first reading of the draft amendment law, Order No. (15) of 2004 regarding the ownership of residential plots of land for employees of the Central Refineries Company." .
The House of Representatives also completed the first reading of the draft law on the Media and Communications Commission.
And the statement continued, “This law comes for the purpose of regulating work in the means of communication, preparing the main controls for broadcasting and media, and adopting them in granting frequency licenses, broadcasting and transmission services, wireless communication services at the national level, obtaining network services and linking them, regulating the radio frequency spectrum, wireless devices and peripheral equipment for wireless communications, and protecting beneficiaries, information and setting standards for action”.
