A member of the Finance Committee in the Iraqi Parliament, Nermin Maarouf, confirmed, on Tuesday, that the decisions of the Council of Ministers were quickly reflected in the movement of the market.

Representative Nermin Maarouf said, "The issue of reducing the price of the dollar against the dinar was expected by everyone, as the decisions taken by the Council of Ministers were immediately reflected in the market movement."

He added, "The Iraqi government is confident of its ability to reduce the value of the dollar against the dinar to the level that we saw in today's cabinet meeting, based on the amount of hard currency that enters the state budget from oil revenues."
