    K24 - Erbil:
    The Minister of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government, along with a delegation from the Us Consulate, discussed the outcome of the talks between Erbil and Baghdad, as well as the political issues of the Kurdistan Region's local political parties and reform steps.
    According to a statement by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Awat Janab Nuri, the Minister of Finance and Economy, met with a delegation of the US Consulate General in Erbil, under the leadership of Zahra Bell, the US Consul General in Erbil.
    At the meeting, the Minister of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that the Kurdistan Region had shown a secret office during discussions with Baghdad on the 2023 budget.
    The finance minister also hoped that Iraq's general budget for 2023 would reach the parliament hall as soon as possible.
    Within the framework of the KRG's reform programme, the Minister of Finance discussed the reform steps and said that the reorganization of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and their collection under the umbrella of the Peshmerga ministry had reached a good stage, and that all facilities related to the ministry of finance had been facilitated and would continue.
    Zahra Bell, the US consul general, praised the role of the Kurdistan Regional Government's delegation in advancing its steps to reach an agreement with the Iraqi government on the budget and oil and gas dossier.
    Meanwhile, the US Consul General in Erbil, acting, thanked the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Finance of the Kurdistan Regional Government to unify and reorganize the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces.
    In another topic of the meeting, the political problems of the Kurdistan Region were discussed, highlighting the lack of income in the border province of Sulaimaniyah, and the finance minister explained the steps taken to the guest delegation to reorganize and increase the province's revenues.
