On Wednesday, the General Authority of Customs directed its directorates to implement the system of entry of goods (transit), and circulated its controls.
The authority stated in a statement, "Based on the directives of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, we have directed the directorates of all customs regions to start working on the entry system for goods (transit) with all countries."
And she continued, "We have circulated its controls in accordance with the amended Customs Law No. 23 of 1984 in force on all customs areas after its approval by the Border Crossings Authority Council."
