With strong words and popular and political support, all circles in Iraq praised the speech of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, during the Cairo summit, especially since his speech was the most powerful and courageous, among all the speeches of other heads of state.

The good image that the Sudanese appeared in front of the Iraqi people did not last, but was “broken” days after his arrival in the country. Following his “surprising” position regarding the targeting of American bases by Islamic factions in Iraq.
Many questions were raised about the reasons for the change in the Prime Minister’s position between the Cairo summit and the targeting of military bases, at a time when political parties confirmed that he was under American pressure.
Earlier today, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed his rejection of the attacks targeting American bases in Iraq, directing all security services to carry out their duties, implement the law, and track and trace the elements carrying out those attacks.

    "conflict"
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, since the launch of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” has demonstrated its position in support of the Palestinian cause and its stand against the occupying entity, which prompted it to respond to Washington’s support for Tel Aviv by targeting its bases in Iraq.
Member of the House of Representatives, Thaer Al-Jubouri, responded to the position of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, regarding targeting American bases in Iraq, while confirming that the Iraqi resistance has its reasons for targeting these bases.
Al-Jubouri said, in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, that “the contradiction in the positions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, between his speech at the Cairo summit, and the recent statement regarding targeting military bases in Iraq confirms that talk differs from implementation.”
He added, "The Islamic resistance in Iraq, which has patriotic people and has an absolute belief that there is no need for the presence of the occupier on their lands, is targeting these bases."
The member of the House of Representatives explains, “The Islamic Resistance’s targeting of American military bases in Iraq coincides with what is happening in Palestine, and solidarity with the people of Gaza.”
Al-Jubouri explains, “The strikes that targeted the American military bases were clearly claimed by the Islamic resistance in Iraq, and this confirms that it is a proud and popular resistance.”
    'Constant pressure'
America, which overthrew the government of Adel Abdul Mahdi, and imposed its conditions on Al-Kadhimi, is today playing its “permanent” game with the Sudanese, and is exerting all possible pressures, starting from the dollar, through the electricity issue, and all the way to this matter.
In turn, the leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Mahmoud Al-Hayani, confirmed that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, was exposed to American pressure regarding the latest position on targeting bases in Iraq, while he stressed that the axis of resistance will not follow American desires.
The leader of the coalition, Mahmoud Al-Hayani, said in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” agency, “America imposed and exerted great pressure on the current government, through the currency auction, the dollar issue, and the economic situation, the latest of which is the recent position regarding targeting American military bases in Iraq.”
He points out, “The Islamic resistance in Iraq is a party not linked to the government, and no one can identify it,” pointing out that “today, resisting the American occupier or the Zionist entity is a legitimate right for the people of the country, and defending its land.”
The leader of the Al-Amiri coalition added, “The statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces regarding the military bases is supposed to be deliberate and a kind of diplomacy, using such positions.”
Al-Hayani points out, “Targeting American bases in Iraq is not new. Rather, the resistance has adopted this project since the return of the American occupation to the country’s lands,” pointing out that “the Islamic resistance gave Sudanese scope and leeway to re-target the occupier.”
He continued his speech, saying: “The axis of resistance will not follow Western and American desires and the pressures they are trying to impose, and it will maintain its position regarding removing the occupier, especially since it has fought America for many years.”
The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, must keep before his eyes the experience of the Al-Kadhimi government, which stood by the Americans in the face of the axis of resistance, and its end was only the exit through the small door. American interests, no matter how strong they are, “will not last.” Ended/25 Rs
