Oil prices rose, today, Tuesday, after a report by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said that market fundamentals are still strong and against the backdrop of fears of possible supply disruption with the United States tightening its grip on Russian oil exports.
By 0113 GMT, Brent crude futures rose 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $82.85 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate crude futures also increased 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to $78.59 per barrel.
Last week, oil prices fell to their lowest level since July, affected by fears of a possible decline in demand in the United States and China, the world's largest oil consumers. Ended / 25 AD
