New cities open horizons of hope to overcome the housing crisis

The five new cities announced by the Ministry of Construction and Housing, which received the approval of the Council of Ministers for the purpose of referring them to investment, are considered a new door of hope for citizens in general and for the fragile or poor classes in particular because of their importance in solving the housing crisis and reducing the burden.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Construction and Housing, Istabraq Sabah, explained in an interview with “Al-Sabah” that the new city projects were all referred to investment and the official books and papers were delivered to the Investment Authority for the purpose of preparing urban and basic designs for the cities, indicating that the work began 3 months ago and within two months it will be completed. Submitting detailed designs for discussion and approval.
Sabah added that the companies that adopted these projects were of different nationalities, including Chinese, Turkish, Ukrainian, and other companies, allied with Iraqi companies, where there is an Iraqi-foreign partnership, pointing out that all the companies’ papers were audited by the analysis committees and bid screening committees before referral.
