According to a regional order issued on Wednesday (October 30, 2024), Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, decided to create the districts of (Sharya, Maserik, and Tanahi) within the administrative borders of Duhok Governorate.[/size]
[size=45]This decision of the President of the Kurdistan Region is based on the Law of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region and in light of a letter from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the Kurdistan Region issued in accordance with the Law of the Governorates of the Kurdistan Region, and is effective from the date of its signing.[/size]
[size=45]The establishment of the three districts in Dohuk Governorate will contribute to expanding and enhancing public services and providing more administrative facilities for the people of the three regions.[/size]
