The head of the organizing body of the popular movement for the Belt and Road, Hussein Al-Karaawi, confirmed on Friday that America seeks to ensure that Iraq remains weak in terms of armament and defense in order to serve the projects of the Zionist entity, headed by Netanyahu.
Al-Karawi told Al-Maalouma, "The American side's prevention of Iraq from obtaining advanced air defense systems and moving towards concluding arms contracts that provide the security system with what it needs to defend Iraq's sovereignty, is all a plan aimed at keeping the defense system weak."
He added, "America is working to ensure that Iraq remains weak in terms of armament in order to serve the Zionist projects, and this became clear when the Zionist planes penetrated Iraqi airspace to bomb the Islamic Republic."
He explained that "the presence of American forces in Iraq comes to provide protection for the Zionist entity and ensure the implementation of Netanyahu's projects in the region, as well as preventing the Iraqi people from engaging in any action that would serve the sons of the resistance and oppressed peoples."
