    [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Washington - Anatolia:  the International Monetary Fund approved the amount of $ 1.24 billion for Iraq, to be able to use in dealing with the payment of its financial obligations, and cover the needs of the 2015 budget, and to overcome the deficit caused by the fight against Daash, and falling oil prices.


    A statement issued by the International Monetary Fund on Thursday, said that the loan, which was approved, on Wednesday July 29 this will be "the current economic program of the authorities to support the (Iraqi), containing the fiscal adjustment measures and structural reforms".


    The statement pointed out that the "double shock faced by Iraq of military action Daash and low world oil prices have increased the government's inability to severe and caused a decline in global reserves."


    He stressed that "the policies of the authorities in dealing with the impact at including financial adjustments and maintain the exchange rate, were in the right direction."


    He said that "despite the fact that the loan will help Iraq in its crisis, but the financial gaps wide and external still exist."


    He explained that "the financial gaps do not require the authorities to implement strict policies only but also the implementation of the fiscal adjustment measures and identify local funding and internal"
    He pointed out that among these amendments would be "implementation of the timetable for the electricity tariff as soon as possible or the adoption of compensatory measures."


    The statement called on the Iraqi government, "paving the ground for the medium-term structural reforms, a comprehensive economic policy can better support management and strengthen the economy's ability to withstand the shocks[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]"
