Launched Wednesday in the province of Dohuk acts Annual Scientific Conference II to evaluate economic policies in a federal Iraq.

Conference, organized by the University of Nowruz civil Dahuk in halls over two successive days, discusses more than 40 scientific papers, with the participation of 80 researchers and academics from across the governorates of Iraq.

Said Dr. Lazar Saadoun University President Nowruz governing conference that a number of themes important affecting the economic sector and economic policy in Iraq.

Addressed the conference, saying in an interview with Radio Free Iraq that the most important of these themes is the role of the private sector in stimulating investment and capital markets and the relationship between the real sector and the financial.

The main policies in the development of the Iraqi economy and budgets and diversify funding sources and studies on the future vision of the economy in light of the reform programs.

Between the university president that findings of the conferees will be submitted to the concerned authorities in order to take advantage of them in practice.

So said Dr. Osama Abdul Majeed al-Ani from the university Iraqi who participated research on investment prospects in the region, he focused on the role of the private sector in the development of economic activity, and reached through research to diagnose the main challenges facing the sector and namely the absence of legislation supporting it.

Meanwhile indicated Dr. Hana Salah from the Department of Economic Policy in the Iraqi Ministry of Planning that the success of any economic sector requires a commander administrative.

Said Dr. Hilal Idriss from the University of Mosul, said there rupture between the state and the university and the private sector, noting that holding such conferences will contribute to supplement state and private sector scientific research economic policies adopted by the fundamental scientific insights and the State benefit from the development of economic strategies.
