[ltr]On Thursday, the Ministry of Commerce launched an unfair competition for the Baghdad International Media Fair to honor the outstanding contributions of journalists and media professionals who highlight the importance of the economic and social event.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and the Salman Jumaili Agency, the Baghdad International Fair and the first year will be held at the Baghdad International Media Fair to honor the outstanding contributions of journalists and media professionals who are conveying the effectiveness of this important Iraqi socio-economic event," the ministry said in a statement received by Mawazine News, .[/ltr]
[ltr]"The award receives the participation of journalists through several categories: television report, radio report, press investigation, press dialogue, press release, press for cartoon, press column, best photojournalism award," the statement said.[/ltr]
[ltr]He pointed out that "every Iraqi journalist who works in one of the channels or radio stations, newspapers or magazines printed or electronic daily or weekly or news agencies issued or distributed in Iraq, the work of covering the exhibition, the progress of his work to win one of the prizes," noting that " Candidates must submit one work and may not apply for more than one category. [ltr]He pointed out that "the article and the candidate news must not exceed 25,000 characters, and be published between the period of 20 October 2017 to 30 October 2017 inclusive," adding that "the materials are presented in a circumstance written on the award of the Baghdad International Media Fair and Was handed over to the media office in the building of the Baghdad exhibition in Al-Mansour. [ltr]"In the case of video and audio reports, a memory card (flash memory) and a copy of the article, graphic or picture in the published newspaper shall be included with a printed copy stating the name, a copy of the institution's identity, telephone number and e-mail."[/ltr]
