North Korea stresses the inevitability of war on the Korean Peninsula
A large-scale exercise between the US and South Korean armies and US threats of a pre-emptive war against Pyongyang makes the issue of war on the Korean peninsula "a confirmed fact," a spokesman for the North Korean Foreign Ministry said.
"The question is: When will the war break out?" The spokesman said in a statement published by the official Korean Central News Agency.
"If we underestimate our patience and ignite a nuclear war, we will certainly make it pay dearly through our enormous nuclear power, which we have always strengthened," he said.
The United States is conducting extensive joint air-to-air training with South Korea involving strategic bombers over the peninsula. Finished
