The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the lifting of the minimum wage per worker per month.
"The Cabinet approved the recommendation of the minimum wage committee to be 350 thousand dinars per month instead of 250 thousand dinars, which was determined by the Council in accordance with its resolution 178 for the year 2013, based on the provisions of Article / Article II] of the Labor Law No. 37 of 2015, to be implemented this decision as of 1/1/2018.
He added that "the decision was made to take into account the general level of wages in the state and take into account the cost of living standards, in addition to reducing the competitive advantage of foreign labor."
