The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoWA) has participated in a training course organized by UNAMI's Human Rights Office on the rights of persons with disabilities.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs Ammar Menem said that the ministry is keen to communicate with international organizations and related parties in order to implement their strategies for social development, pointing out the participation of the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and the special needs of a training course with the UNAMI Human Rights Office, For the joint cooperation between the two sides and the definition of the rights of persons and persons with disabilities.
He added that one of the most important topics dealt with by the session was an explanation of the Protocol Convention, according to which the violations of persons with disabilities in the world are being diagnosed and ways of preventing the recurrence of such violations through the formation of specialized committees operating in accordance with a joint mechanism with countries that Signing the protocol and activating it on the ground through the official governmental channels related to the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and special needs.
