    BAGHDAD / The General Company for Trade and Trade Services of Iraq, one of the formations of the Ministry of Commerce, announced on Sunday the opening of two economic exhibitions in the city of Erbil.
    The ministry said in a statement that "the two exhibitions which opened in the presence of the governor of Arbil and the Egyptian consul in Erbil witnessed a wide participation of private sector companies from the region and the world and this is evidence of their confidence in the security situation of the Kurdistan Region," noting that "the first exhibition (Auto Show) Organized by the Egyptian Pyramids Company and the second Egyptian products exhibition, which is organized by the Egyptian News Today, in the presence of officials from the regional government and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
    He stressed that "these exhibitions an opportunity to compete between companies and the need to continue such economic and trade exhibitions for the benefit of Iraq in general and the Kurdistan Region in particular and from all aspects."
    "The four-day Auto Show has been attended by a number of car companies, including the new categories, which were highly appreciated by the visitors. The most prominent exhibitors were Land Rover, Mizarati, Mercedes, Jeep, Renault, Hyundai , Dong, Shangian, Kia as well as companies specialized in the production and marketing of motor oil and tire manufacturers for saloon and load conveyors, as well as companies equipped with automotive backup tools.
    He added that the exhibition of Egyptian products, which is attended by more than 70 companies, which lasts for ten days in a row includes a range of hand carpets, antiques and antiques Troy the history of the Egyptian Pharaonic civilization, and various types of furniture and wood industries made by the hands of Egyptian artisans and artists as well as companies specialized in the production Food and household items ".
