    Information / Anbar ..
A high-ranking source in the local Anbar provincial government said on Saturday that the Al-Qaim border crossing with Syria, west of Anbar, was reopened.
The source said to the "information", "The concerned authorities reopened the border post with Syria, west of Anbar, after a closure that lasted for less than a week before the movement of passengers and goods without knowing the real motives behind the closure process."
The source added, "The Al-Qaim border post with Syria witnessed today the entry of more than 15 trucks loaded with goods from Syria into [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as well as the entry of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] trucks towards Syrian territory."
He explained, "The reopening coincided with the tightening of security measures on the port as well as the deployment of fixed and mobile security controls with escort of security wheels for travelers and trucks to provide security protection for them." . Ended / 12a
