A high-ranking source in the local Anbar provincial government said on Saturday that the Al-Qaim border crossing with Syria, west of Anbar, was reopened.
The source said to the "information", "The concerned authorities reopened the border post with Syria, west of Anbar, after a closure that lasted for less than a week before the movement of passengers and goods without knowing the real motives behind the closure process."

He explained, "The reopening coincided with the tightening of security measures on the port as well as the deployment of fixed and mobile security controls with escort of security wheels for travelers and trucks to provide security protection for them." . Ended / 12a
