    On Sunday, Minister of Planning, Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi, stressed the provision of all necessary conditions for the completion of the Grand Faw port project, noting that the project will be completed within three years.
    Al-Dulaimi said, in a statement that he received / information / a copy of it, on the sidelines of inspecting the phases of the completion of the Grand Faw port project: “The project is one of the Ministry’s most important priorities because of the economic importance it has for Iraq, moving it to many sectors and providing hundreds of thousands of opportunities for groups able to work in various Specializations ”, indicating that what has been accomplished during the year 2019 equals everything that has been worked on for the period from 2011 to 2018,”
    He added, “The stages of the project will be completed at the same speed as last year,” stressing that “many important joints are included, including the Khor Al-Zubair channel tunnel project, which will be a three-lane link between the port of Faw and the highways that connect Basra to neighboring countries, and a rail link Between the port and the governorate center, in addition to 5 different berths. ”
