The Ministry of Oil announced, on Saturday, the allocation of two million dollars to support the health sector and the establishment of a field hospital in Dhi Qar Governorate to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
The ministry’s spokesman, Assem Jihad, said in a statement seen by Al-Iqtisad News that “Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamer Al-Ghadban agreed to allocate an amount of two million dollars from the Social Benefits Fund to support the health sector in Dhi Qar Governorate to prevent the spread of Corona virus, as well as establishing A field hospital to receive those infected with this virus. "
Jihad added that "these allocations come within the national campaign to prevent the spread of Corona virus, and the campaign includes providing a number of hospitals in the governorate with the necessary equipment, supplies, drugs and urgent necessary treatments", stressing "the formation of committees from the Dhi Qar Oil Company and the provincial health department to implement this urgently. For the people of the province. "
