    Yassin Iraq: Baghdad
It seems that the Iraqi authorities are trying to find alternatives and exits from the crisis of dealing with Iraqis stranded abroad, in the manner of "wasting money and saving efforts", as the suspension of exceptional trips for the return of Iraqis stranded abroad in light of the recommendation of the crisis cell until the preparation of places for quarantine able to accommodate the numbers The returning Iraqis.

Although the Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed last Thursday that the suspension of flights will be for 48 hours only until the preparation of places for quarantine, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry took a step "incomprehensible" this day that suggests to extend the suspension of flights and keep the Iraqis there for a longer time, and that By giving each stuck Iraqi an amount of $ 3,000 per person, it may be considered an emergency payment for the stranded who have previously broadcast complaints that they have exhausted all their money and would like to return to the country.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a press statement that "the Ministry undertook to send $ 3,000 to each Iraqi individual stuck abroad."
He added, "The people of the stranded must come to the ministry building to complete the procedures," noting that "the amount will be delivered through the Iraqi embassies abroad."
Al-Sahaf stressed that "Iraqi embassies and missions abroad are Iraqi homes," noting that "Iraqi embassies and missions are responsible for delivering food supplies to hundreds of stranded and resident Iraqis."

    Foreign Ministry spokesman:
    Dr. Ahmed Al-Sahaf.

Al-Sahaf: We are responsible for sending $ 3,000 to every Iraqi person stuck abroad.
Al-Sahaf: People with stranded people must come to the Ministry building to complete the procedures.
Al-Sahaf: The money will be delivered through the Iraqi embassies abroad. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Spending money without solving the problem
It is estimated that the number of Iraqis stuck remaining abroad is estimated at hundreds of people, after returning about 800 Iraqis during the conduct of extraordinary trips during the past days, which leads to the transfer of the Iraqi foreign amounts of hundreds of thousands of dollars to Iraqis abroad, at a time when it is possible to invest a quarter of this money To build places for low-cost quarantine and resume flights to return the stranded Iraqis abroad instead of spending hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars without solving the basic problem and keeping travelers stuck outside the country in all cases.

The civil aviation authority has expired, and the flight is still suspended
The 48 hours announced by the Civil Aviation Authority since the third of April this year, where she said in a statement seen by "Yass Iraq", said that "its recent decision regarding the delay in arriving at Iraqi arrivals starting from 12:00 pm on Thursday evening, but it came in implementation To direct the Chairman of Diwaniyah Committee 55 of 2020, the Minister of Health, Jaafar Sadiq Allawi, which includes delaying the transportation of expatriates until the spaces for quarantine are set up for 14 days. ”
She added that, “after continuous deliberation with the Prime Minister’s Adviser, it was concluded that the decision to suspend flights for Iraqi expatriates will be for 48 hours only to prepare procedures and requirements for quarantine conditions for expatriates from outside the country,” noting that “the assessment of the situation is repeated according to the decisions of the relevant health committee And the Ministry of Health to preserve the safety of our dear citizens, which requires taking all preventive measures and precautionary measures. ”

Transportation leaves the decision to wait until time is open
However, the Ministry of Transport did not specify a specific date for the resumption of flights, leaving the matter open and subject to evaluation.
In a statement, “The Ministry of Iraq” received a copy of it, the Ministry said, “The General Company for Iraqi Airways was instructed by the request of the Ministry of Health, which includes being patient in transporting expatriates, until the quarantine areas are set up for fourteen days and performing the necessary checks for them to ensure that they are not infected with the Corona virus. ”
The Ministry affirmed that "the suspension decision will come into effect from Friday," noting that "the Ministry of Transport is fully committed to all government decisions issued by the official authorities in a manner consistent with the country's public interest and the safety of citizens and the preservation of their lives."
She pointed out, "In the event of any new decision to resume flights, public opinion and travelers will be informed about this by advertising on the websites of the Ministry of Transport and the Iraqi Airways Company."

    Health demands to wait
On Thursday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health called on the Ministry of Transport to wait to transport Iraqi immigrants stranded outside the country until the creation of places for their quarantine.
A document directed by the Ministry of Health to the Ministry of Transport and viewed by "Yassin Iraq" showed a request to wait for the transfer of arrivals to Iraq until the preparation of places for their stone, where it was decided to quarantine all arrivals for a period of 14 days.
