The Parliamentary Legal Committee suggested, on Monday, that the Federal Court’s law be passed during today's session, indicating that a parliamentary meeting will be held shortly to discuss consensus on the two remaining articles of the law.
"A decisive meeting will be held today between the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, the Legal Committee and the heads of parliamentary blocs to reach an agreement on the two articles and finish the law," said a member of the committee, Almas Fadel, in a statement to / Al-Maalouma.
She added that "the parliamentary blocs agreed on all points of contention in the law of the Federal Court, except for Articles 3 and 12, but almost a great deal between the political forces to pass the law."
She explained that "the two articles concern the nomination mechanism for membership of the Federal Court and the voting mechanism, will it be by majority or any other method?", Expressing her belief that the law will be initiated in today's session. Ended / 25 D.
