    {Politics: Al-Furat News} The House of Representatives, in its session held under the chairmanship of Muhammad Al-Halbousi, Speaker of Parliament, on Tuesday evening, in the presence of 198 deputies, voted on a parliamentary decision.

    At the beginning of the session, MP Nabil al-Tarfi read a statement in which he recalled the bombing of Halabja with chemical weapons, which revealed to the whole world the ugly face of the former regime, pointing out that murder, execution and mass graves are the dominant feature of this system.
    He added that this calls on us to build a democratic society, calling for preserving the unity of Iraq, appreciating the sacrifices of the people of the Kurdistan Region and their effective contribution to the collapse of the former regime and the building of the new Iraq, calling for the respect of constitutional frameworks and democracy in the service of the Iraqi people.
    After that, the council read Al-Fatihah to the souls of the martyrs of Halabja and Iraq.
    In a related development, MP Bakhtiyar Jabbar read a statement demanding the completion of the procedures for considering Halabja as a province in addition to the demand for resolving the file of children displaced to Iran from the city of Halabja, as well as compensation for the victims of the stricken city, similar to the procedures for compensation for the victims of the previous regime.
    The council voted unanimously on a resolution calling on the government to expedite the completion of the legal procedures for declaring Halabja Governorate.
    Then MP Muthanna Al-Samarrai read a statement denouncing the heinous crimes committed by the terrorist ISIS in the liberated governorates, the most recent of which was the heinous crime that took place in Salah al-Din Governorate, calling for the participation of the youth of those areas in managing the security file and intensifying the security and intelligence effort, referring to a major government failure in Those provinces.
    After that, the council read Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, especially Salah al-Din Governorate.
    (Shabal Hassan Ramadan Safar) was sworn in as a substitute for the deputy (Aram Naji Muhammad), who passed away after being infected with the Corona virus.
    On the other hand, a number of deputies demanded that the financial benefits of martyrs, prisoners and wounded be included in the general budget law.
    Then it was decided to adjourn the session to Thursday
