{Local: Al Furat News} The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adel Al-Rikabi revealed that an investigation committee had been formed at the Social Protection Network in Dhi Qar to uncover the reasons for removing 480 families and replacing them with other names.

Al-Rikabi said in a press statement, "The ministry formed an investigative committee after the discovery of 480 families whose names had been changed and new families were inserted in their place in a manner of manipulation, fraud and collusion with some employees in the social protection department in the province."
He added, "The employees who tampered with these names received their punishment, some of them were dismissed, and severe penalties were imposed on others, while the Ministry's Social Protection sent a committee to the Social Protection Department in Dhi Qar and returned the 480 families who were receiving the network’s salaries."
He pointed out that 480 families will be returned to the network, and their aid will be released during the next batch.
