[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The head of the National Investment Authority, Suha Al-Najjar, revealed, on Thursday, 2,300 unfinished projects until the moment, indicating that withdrawing investment licenses from lagging projects will allow the withdrawal of the lands allocated to those projects and return them to the state[size=15] .[/size]
[size=15]Al-Najjar said in a statement to NRT Arabia (April 22, 2021) that "the commission, since its inception in 2008, has granted about 2,300 projects, most of which are lagging and unfinished projects," adding that "these lands are still under the control of project owners who are stalling due to their possession of the investment license ."[/size]
[size=15]She indicated that "through directing Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to withdraw these investment licenses, we will be able to return the lands to state ownership ."[/size]
[size=15]Al-Najjar explained that "the lands are seized by the investor, and when the license is canceled, it will return to state ownership and its time, and in coordination with the ministries, the real projects that will be put forward to start their construction on those lands will be studied."[/size]
