On Friday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee reassured those anticipating the exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar.

Committee member Nermin Maarouf said, in statements to "NAS" (February 10, 2023), that "the financial conditions will stabilize better than the period before the crisis, and there is no need for panic."
Maarouf called on "those who own the dinar to the need to wait and not take risks in order to buy dollars," noting that "its price has declined against the dinar after the recent measures."
And she stressed that "the positive results of the Istanbul meeting will overshadow the new negotiations in Washington," noting that "what happened is a temporary crisis and is on its way to being resolved through steps and procedures."
