the representative of the Al-Sadiqun bloc, Suhaila Al-Sultani, confirmed today, Friday, that the regional government took advantage of political differences to obtain sums that it considered due to it, pointing to the Federal Court, which said its word, and the region has no choice but to pay the sums it owes in favor of Baghdad.
Al-Sultani said, in an interview reported by the media of her bloc, that "the region had taken advantage of the differences within the Shiite house, as well as between the Sunnis and the Shiites, in order to obtain large sums of money, which he considered his entitlements, while they are not his real entitlements, but he tried to obtain them."
She added, "The Kurdistan region has no choice but to abide by the constitution, the law, and the decision of the Federal Court, which said its word regarding the sums granted by some governments to Kurdistan, as after this decision, no sums can be granted to the regional government unless it pays the money it owes in favor of Baghdad."
And she indicated that "the regional government should hand over oil imports to the federal government according to what was agreed upon, and this matter, in addition to other matters, has constituted an obstacle to the completion of the budget in a timely manner." Ended 29 / H
