    Today, Thursday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, held a joint press conference with the Director General of Yazidi Survivors' Affairs, Sarab Elias, about the measures taken to support this group.
    Al-Asadi said during the conference, which was followed by (Baghdad Today), that "the House of Representatives voted on the Yazidi and Turkmen women survivors' law, and survivors of various components," and accordingly, "a general directorate was established under the title of the Directorate of Survivors in the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs," and the ministry became "concerned with examining the subject survivors and provide them with the necessary assistance. 
    Al-Asadi added, "25 billion dinars have been allocated to the Directorate of Survivors' Affairs within the Emergency Support for Food Security and Development Law," pointing out that "the directorate will grant a monthly salary of 800,000 dinars to each survivor and a plot of land with a loan in order to build a housing unit," noting that The Directorate of Survivors' Affairs launched an electronic window in September last year, and the requests of survivors were officially received on this window by 1,650 applications.
    And he continued, "A committee was formed, according to what was approved by the law, including judges and specialists, to consider the applications finally, as 354 applications were completed, and we have launched the first batch of Master Card cards for 123 male and female survivors, and they will be able to receive their salaries next Sunday," stressing that the ministry "will provide aid." Psychological and social rehabilitation of girls and boys who are survivors of terrorism, in order to reintegrate them into society, to be effective actors. 
    And he added, "We have so far completed the major social research process for 500,000 families, and we will launch the search process for all governorates, districts and districts, starting next Sunday." 
    He also announced "the start of applying for health insurance service in Baghdad governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, starting from Sunday for all beneficiaries of the ministry's services," noting that "we will work in the coming weeks to include this health insurance in all governorates of Iraq."
     He continued, "We will provide 10,000 opportunities to train widowed and divorced women through vocational training centers, and the application will be through the electronic platform, and the trained women will be included in loans after completing their training, and they will be given a sum of money during the training days."
