The Ministry of Planning stipulated the approval of the federal financial budget in order to conduct the population census of the country.
“So far, the date for conducting the population census has not been determined, and we are awaiting approval of the budget,” said the ministry’s spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, noting that “if the budget is approved, we need at least 10 months to complete the census requirements.” .
He pointed out that "determining the date is within the competence of the Higher Committee for the Population Census, after reviewing all the timings and capabilities that are required."
