    The head of the Nabni Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, on Wednesday condemned the American attacks on the Popular Mobilization Forces, while noting that their stay would lead to more Iraqi bloodshed.

    Al-Amiri said in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News: “We condemn, in the strongest terms, the sinful American attacks that targeted our sons in the heroic security services at dawn yesterday and today, which led to the martyrdom and wounding of a number of them.”

    A US defense official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the raid launched by fighter jets targeted and destroyed an operations center near Jurf al-Sakhar, according to Reuters.

    At least 62 American soldiers suffered minor injuries or brain injuries in the attacks.

    The attacks on American targets ended a year-long unilateral truce declared with Washington by Iraqi factions, some of which formed in the wake of the American invasion in 2003 to fight American forces, and other factions in 2014 to fight ISIS.
