US officials said, that the Iraqi army needed several months so that a large-scale attack on the elements Organizer daash "to regain territory controlled.

Agency (AFP) military official demanded anonymity, "Iraqi forces currently able to small-scale attacks against daash, but needed time to become ready to launch massive operations even under air assistance provided by its international coalition strikes led by the United States against regulation."

"And they can do it in months, not years," he said, adding that "it is not imminent."

Asked about the duration of the Iraqi army to be able to launch an attack to recapture the city of Mosul, the official said that this time may be one year.

The officials acknowledged the US central command responsible for the Middle East and Central Asia that "the pace of airstrikes in Iraq are limited because the Iraqi army does not advance very much and take defensive than offensive".

US officials said, that "the Iraqi army has lost much of its effectiveness under former Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki that many qualified officers have been replaced by other less efficient for political reasons and to favour the military equipment has been neglected."

They added that it was "too early to judge the effectiveness of a strategy by us President Barack Obama to eliminate organized daash".(A.A)
