Member of the Parliamentary Human Rights Committee, Nisan Al-Zayer, called on the international community today, Thursday, to intervene regarding the Turkish attacks on Iraqi territory, expressing surprise at the same time at the international community’s silence regarding these violations.
Al-Zayer told Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Turkish forces continue to bomb civilian villages in northern Iraq, indicating that the Turkish violations have resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of Iraqis."
She added, "The Turkish attacks continue amid international silence, in violation of human rights and international laws." End/25H
