    Information/ Report..
Another controversy is affecting the unpopular, and starting from Basra towards Aqaba, not only what is being given to Jordan according to American dictates, but there is also talk of a complete port at Iraq's expense with the payment of oil transport fees through Jordan of more than two dollars per barrel passing through Jordan to the world.
An economic loss that Iraq will bear, unwillingly, due to American pressure, unless a popular revolution occurs demanding the cancellation of the pipeline, in addition to initiatives by members of the House of Representatives to cancel it.
    *Cancelling the Silk Road
Speaking about this file, member of the Victory Coalition, Aqeel Al-Rudaini, revealed that Arab countries stood in the way of implementing the Silk Road in Iraq because it would harm their interests.
Al-Rudaini said in a statement to /Al-Maalouma/ Agency, "Because of American dictates and the resistance of some Arab countries, work on the Chinese Silk Road in Iraq was stopped because it would make China the controller of the world economy," noting that "the Silk Road would have achieved unparalleled economic feasibility for Iraq from what is being proposed today in government projects."
He continued, "The development path that the current government is working on is very different from the Silk Road that America prevented from being implemented in Iraq," noting that "America is looking for its own interests and does not want countries to develop economically at its expense in any way."
Iraq represents a geographical bridge linking the continents of Asia and Europe and the regions of the Arabian Gulf and the Levant, which means that Iraq is located at the heart of the Belt and Road project because it represents a meeting point for global transportation lines.
    * A port after the pipeline
In addition, oil expert Hamza Al-Jawahiri revealed that the Aqaba pipeline project is not the only thing that is being offered to Jordan by the Iraqi side, while he confirmed that Iraq will undertake the construction of a port in Aqaba for export purposes.
Al-Jawahiri said in a statement to / Al-Maalouma / agency, "If the Basra-Aqaba pipeline went to northern Iraq, it would not have faced all this popular rejection," indicating that "the pipeline will head to Aqaba in Jordan and a port will be built there to export oil to the Zionist entity."
He added, "Iraq will bear the cost of oil transiting through Jordan at a rate of two dollars and 60 cents per barrel," noting that "Iraq will export 400,000 barrels per day to the world from the pipeline."

It is noteworthy that Iraq has recently granted many privileges to Jordan due to American dictates, including the introduction of Jordanian banks to the Iraqi market, in addition to the Aqaba pipeline and port. End 25/J
