Baghdad/ NINA /–The delegation of the Parliamentary Committee on legal affairs discussed in Washington with the U.S. deputy assistant of State Department for Near Eastern Affairs and with the supervisor of the Iraqi file at the U.S. State Department the future of relations between the two sides within the framework of the strategic agreement concluded between the two countries as well as the current Iraqi political scene.
According to a statement by the information department of the House of Representatives today, “The two sides stressed during the meeting the need to address the obstacles that obstruct the experiment to build a democratic state and the establishment of Federal institutions as well as the need to abide by the constitution and partnership between all components of the Iraqi people.
