Twilight News / Baghdad began preliminary meetings between the ministries of oil in Iraq and Iran, to prepare the formula memorandum of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of oil and energy, as announced by the Iraqi Oil Ministry.
The agent said the oil ministry for the gas industry Hamid Younis responded in a statement to the Twilight News, that these meetings, which included officials from the ministries of oil in Iraq and Iran come in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and to expand the size of their cooperation.
He added that this meeting aims to prepare for the draft memorandum of preliminary understanding which will hopefully be signed by the ministers of oil in Iraq and Iran in the coming days, including joint border fields and supply Iraq gas cooperation portfolio in the areas of drilling, pipes and technology and the exchange of experiences and oil exploration and implementation of joint projects in Gaza oil and gas and other topics that will be included in the memorandum of understanding
For his part, Undersecretary of the Iranian Ministry of Oil Amir Hussain for his country's desire to expand the size of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sectors, and projects chock, expressed the readiness of his country to meet all the needs of Iraq's gas.
He Hussein that there are broad prospects of cooperation projects that can be activated and development between the two countries.
For his part, he said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said the Iranian delegation included a number of corporate managers in the Iranian Oil Ministry.
