On Thursday, the Electoral Commission announced the granting of registration leave to more than 142 parties 40% of them new parties established since the adoption of the law parties.
"The preparation of the parties that submitted to the Commission to grant a leave of incorporation amounted to more than 142 parties and the preparation is increasing," UNHCR spokesman Karim al-Tamimi told Al-Maaloumah.
He added that "60% of the old parties and 40% of them parties recently founded and joined the Commission on official holidays."
