(Sulaymaniyah: Euphrates News) A large number of citizens living in the province of Sulaymaniyah to resort to raising livestock as small projects for them.

"The availability of livestock sources contributes to the return of people to the profession. There are now companies and traders who import livestock from abroad, buy them for the purpose of fattening and then sell them again, and the production of meat and milk cattle has so far not reached the level of self-sufficiency," he said.
"The current projects provide 50 percent of the local need, and we allow the import of red meat to provide local needs and to regulate prices, and according to the need of each province for these meat," he said.
He explained that "there are conditions for the establishment of a project for raising livestock, including that the project away from villages and public roads not less than 500 meters, and projects similar to a distance of not less than 300 meters, but a large proportion of the owners of these projects set up their projects within the villages.
