Halabousi: We received a presidential proposal to determine the tasks of US forces and not to expel them

Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halboussi announced on Saturday that he had received a proposal adopted by deputies to determine the tasks of the US presence and the timing of their stay in the country rather than expelling them.
"He did not receive any proposal by parliamentarians aimed at expelling US forces from Iraq," Halaboussi said in a statement broadcast by the Kurdistan 24 television channel.
"The proposal, which was adopted by some MPs and received the presidency of Parliament already aims to determine the functions of the presence of Americans and the nature of their work and the duration of their stay in Iraq."
Al-Hablousi revealed on Monday that the presidency of parliament, the draft law on the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq signed a position of 52 deputies, noting that the presidency of parliament will consider passing the law after consulting with the government. Ending / 25
