    On Monday, the head of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshlands Salam al-Shammari called on the government to search for internal ways to provide financial resources instead of external borrowing.

    He added that "there are other things to increase financial resources, such as starting the immediate export of agricultural and animal products and crops that are surplus to the need of the local market, especially as Iraqi products have their Arab and regional markets."
