"Qassem Al-Jabarin" adopts targeting 3 columns of the coalition

Hours after an Iraqi official welcomed the start of the withdrawal of a batch of the international coalition forces from Iraq towards Kuwait, the official spokesman for the coalition forces announced that the coalition's mission, even after this withdrawal, will not change in Iraq. A spokesman for the "international coalition against ISIS", Wayne Maroto, said on Monday that the mission of the coalition with its partner forces in Iraq has not changed. He explained in a tweet on Twitter that "there is no change in the mission of the coalition with its partners in the Iraqi security forces and the Kurdish Peshmerga forces to defeat ISIS and its remnants."
The Iraqi government had announced its welcome to start implementing what was agreed upon within the framework of the fourth round of the "strategic dialogue" during Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi's recent visit to the United States of America.
In this context, the Iraqi National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, who was accompanying Al-Kazemi on a visit to Washington, confirmed that "the step taken by the American forces to withdraw from Iraq towards their bases in Kuwait is welcome to us." Al-Araji added in a statement that "this step of withdrawal came in response to the outcomes of the (strategic dialogue) between Iraq and America, and it is a confirmation of what was agreed upon, and the commitment and credibility of the two parties."
For his part, the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, confirmed, on Monday, that the withdrawal of the international coalition forces towards Kuwait came within the outcomes of the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington. Rasul told the official news agency that "the withdrawal process will continue until December 31," noting that "the rest are advisors only for the purpose of training, and they will be protected by the Iraqi forces." Rasoul explained that “these forces were not really combative; Because the Iraqi forces are the ones who fight and liberate the areas from (ISIS)."
Meanwhile, an extremist group whose reference is not yet known, calling itself "Qassem Al-Jabarin", announced its responsibility for targeting the international coalition convoys during the recent period. And she said in a statement yesterday: "Today we are adopting 3 specific operations targeting logistical columns belonging to the US Army in 3 different locations and governorates; These are Baghdad, Nasiriyah and Babylon. This group vowed “more,” noting that “these operations come in response to the call of the homeland and the right to defend the land from the American occupation forces and avenge the blood of the victory leaders,” in reference to the killing of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the “Revolutionary Guards.” Iranian, and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority. This is the first time that a party affiliated with an armed faction has issued a statement declaring responsibility for targeting the international coalition convoys; Where it was considered a routine work that was limited to planting explosives in the way of logistical support lines for the international coalition forces in Iraq, and usually there were no casualties. Moreover; The armed factions loyal to Iran, which announced their rejection of the outcomes of the “strategic dialogue” in its fourth round, and criticized a series of statements of support, even from parties affiliated with the “Al-Fateh Alliance” led by Hadi al-Amiri, did not carry out any armed operation against the Americans, whether it was with Katyusha missiles or drones. Nor did any of these factions comment on the coalition’s decision to start withdrawing its forces from Iraq to Kuwait, although they used to question such steps, in addition to considering what is happening as a redeployment of American forces as long as they go to neighboring countries, not a withdrawal. .
