    [size=45]The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced today, Monday, that it has reached an understanding with the owners of local slaughterhouses for officially registered chicken meat to market their product in the cities of central and southern Iraq, after reaching an agreement with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture recently.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement by the ministry said that the Minister of Agriculture in the regional government held a meeting today, Monday, with the owners of slaughterhouse projects producing local chicken meat, with the aim of rapprochement, dialogue and discussing their problems and demands.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that the meeting also discussed the points included in the latest understandings between the ministry and the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture in order to work in the light of decisions and recommendations for marketing local production and the official definition of Kurdistan Region projects and to address the problems related to exporting chicken meat production to the cities of central and southern Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that it was decided during the meeting to activate the issue of placing labels and (barcodes) on the official slaughterhouse products registered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in the regional government and being dealt with, and for the same goal and to create a local market, the request is to be made through the Council of Ministers to the ministries The concerned malls and restaurants may use the local produce for the local slaughterhouses.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement indicated that at the end of the meeting, the participants presented many important proposals and recommendations that were approved and will be implemented later.[/size]
