    Today, Wednesday, the National Investment Commission revealed a plan to reactivate the investment of Lake Razzaza, with the aim of building an integrated city with services.
    The head of the commission, Haider Muhammad Makiya, said, in a statement received by (Al-Oula News), that “the commission and the local government in the holy province of Karbala are keen to perpetuate constructive and fruitful cooperation, which reflects positively on the economic development witnessed by the province as it is a major religious center.”
    He added, “We work in the Commission according to a strategy of sustainable investment based on thoughtful thought based on planning, design and integrated management for the current and next generation,” stressing that “the investment in Al-Razzaza Lake will be reactivated to build an integrated urban city that provides services to tourists and the Iraqi citizen.”
    For his part, the governor of Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, said, according to the statement, that "the province is attractive for investment, as a result of its religious and commercial location," noting that "ten requests from abroad to enter the investment process in the province."
    He pointed out, "The investment projects in the province provided thousands of job opportunities for the youth of the province, which contributed to improving the living and economic reality of the province."
    He continued, "The governorate has more than 22 residential complexes at different prices, in addition to the ability of the agricultural sector to produce two billion table eggs per year."
