Director of the North Refineries Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project, Engineer Hadi Saleh Dhaher, confirmed today, Friday, that the return of the stolen materials from the Baiji refinery will speed up the process of reconstruction and operation of the refinery, praising the efforts of the Prime Minister that contributed to the return of the materials stolen from the refinery.
"The return of the stolen materials to the refinery will have a significant impact on the work," Daher said to the official agency, followed by Mawazine News, pointing out that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani made great efforts to return the stolen materials from the company."
And that "these materials are very important and will speed up the process of reconstruction and rehabilitation of the refinery and its operation in half of the period that was expected and previously planned."
He added, "During the prime minister's meeting with the technical and engineering cadres of the refinery, a number of matters were discussed, and the prime minister's response was quick, as he gave many powers to manage the refinery," noting that "the work at the Baiji refinery is proceeding with tremendous efforts, and a completion rate of no less than 40% has been achieved." From the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the refinery, through direct supply, and the materials were provided with great effort and the employment of no less than 2,500 workers and specialized technical cadres for this level.
For his part, the Director General of North Refineries, Adnan Muhammad Hammoud, confirmed that "the company was honored by the Prime Minister's visit to open the Al-Izra unit, whose production reaches 25,000 barrels per day," noting that "the opening of this unit will contribute to raising the octane number of gasoline and improving its quality at the time when it is needed." the country to derivatives such as gasoline and gas to the maximum extent possible.

He explained that "the quantities produced by the Baiji refinery reach 120,000 barrels from the Baiji site, the Al-Sumoud refinery at the present time, in addition to 100,000 barrels from external refineries represented by the Kirkuk refinery, the Qayyarah refinery, the Al-Kasak refinery, and the Haditha refinery, so that the current final total is 220,000 barrels produced per day by the company."
