    Information / Exclusive:
The Al-Fatah Alliance confirmed, on Monday, that the Kurdistan Regional Government will not be able to create anything in its financial accounts despite its continued oil smuggling, while stating that the Paris International Court will punish parties dealing with Erbil.
The leader of the coalition, Aed Al-Hilali, said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “If the Kurdistan Regional Government continues to smuggle a percentage of oil, it will not be able to account for anything in its financial accounts as a result of the sanctions imposed on those who deal with the region.”
Al-Hilali stated, “The Paris International Court will punish all parties that deal with the Kurdistan region in the oil smuggling file, which will prevent the region from taking escalating steps towards this file.”
He added, "The Ankara government fell into the trap of fines due to failure to respect international conventions and laws in exporting oil from the Kurdistan region," pointing out that "the Kurdish parties will not oppose the resumption of oil exports after the Paris court's decision to avoid many of the burdens that will fall on them."
The leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance explained, “There is a serious effort by the committees formed by the government to negotiate with the Turkish side to resume the export of oil to Kurdistan via the Ceyhan line.”
Earlier, former member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Ghaleb Muhammad, confirmed that the Kurdistan region continues to violate oil exports until now, while he confirmed that Kurdistan has not delivered the revenues of more than one and a half billion barrels of oil to the central government in Baghdad.
Video clips, published on social media sites, documented the smuggling of oil tanks from Erbil to the Shandar Road and from there to the Turkish border without the knowledge of the Iraqi government. Ended / 25 R
