    <p style="text-align: left;"><p style="text-align: left;"><p style="line-height: normal; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto;" class="MsoNormal">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Speaker, Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, called to consider the anniversary of Imam Kadhum’s martyrdom as “The National day for all the oppressed Iraqi prisoners across the history.”
    In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “No doubt that Imam Kadhum was a prominent figure in the history of the oppressed prisoners so it is better to link his martyrdom with the oppressed Iraqi prisoners.”
    “We must respect and commemorate their history through a national day,” he added, noting that “The oppression is the same even if it comes through different ways.”
    “When were inside the prisons, we were dreaming of freedom to change the tragic reality,” he concluded.
