The Pentagon has submitted a recommendation to the White House to hand over samples of high-tech anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.
The sources said that the talk about the supply of "Javelin" anti-tank systems worth about 50 million dollars, noting that although the final decision has not been taken yet, the Pentagon supports such measures.
In addition, questions remain about whether the United States will supply the systems to Ukraine directly or through an intermediary, and whether the Americans will train the Ukrainian army to use new weapons. "

According to the agency "RIA Novosti", the Wall Street Journal earlier reported, quoting US officials, that the US defense and foreign ministries have developed a plan to supply anti-tank missiles and other weapons to Ukraine.
Commenting on this information, Dmitry Piskov, the press secretary of the Kremlin, said that all countries, especially those who present themselves as parties to a conflict resolution, should avoid actions that could create new tensions.
